PROJECTED CORK ISOLATE

WHAT IT IS

PREMIUM PROJECTED CORK ISOLATE COATING IS A FORMULATED COMBINATION OF CORK GRANULES IN A POLYACRYLATE RESIN POLYMER BASE.

WHAT IT DOES

THE FLEXIBLE AND STURDY COAT INSULATES, FULLY ENCAPSULATES, PROTECTS, AND PRESERVES THE AREA IT COVERS, SHIELDING IT FROM OUTSIDE FORCES.

SUSTAINABILITY

PROJECTED CORK IS AN ECOLOGICAL PRODUCT. IT IS A GREENER, MORE SUSTAINABLE, AND NATURALLY RENEWABLE RESOURCE THAN MOST ALTERNATIVES.

PROTECTIVE BARRIER

PROJECTED CORK FINISHES ARE COMPARABLE TO A REGULAR ELASTOMERIC PAINT JOB, HOWEVER, IT IS THINNER AND MORE EFFECTIVE. IT IS ABLE TO COVER CRACKS AND HOLES UP TO 1/8 INCH WIDE.

THE FADE RATE OF MODERN PAINT IS 3-7% DEPENDING ON COLOR AND EXPOSURE TO UV RAYS, WHEREAS THE FADE RATE OF PROJECTED CORK IS LESS THAN 1%.

WHEN USING PROJECTED CORK ON A HOUSE OR BUILDING, IT ESSENTIALLY CREATES A BARRIER AGAINST NATURE'S DESTRUCTIVE ELEMENTS.

PROJECTED CORK USES

  • REJUVENATING EXTERIOR STUCCO AND CONCRETE

  • DECORATIVE FINISH THAT INSULATES FROM HEAT AND COLD, AND PREVENTS SOUND TRAVEL THROUGH SUBFLOORS.

  • KEEPING WATER OUT WHILE STILL BEING ABLE TO BREATHE, ALLOWING WATER VAPOR TO PASS THROUGH

  • PREVENTING BLISTERING, PREMATURE COATING FAILURES, REBAR RUST AND CONCRETE FAILURES

  • PREVENTS SOUND TRAVEL THROUGH THE SUBFLOOR.

Projected cork isolate is a water-resistant product, making it the ideal solution for new construction as a maintenance-free finish. It is waterproof with gravity, meaning on a pitched roof or side of a building, there will be no penetration.

Projected Cork is greener and more sustainable than most alternatives. It is also a naturally renewable resource. Removing the bark from the cork tree every nine years causes an immense release of oxygen from the tree into the environment. The tree will last for hundreds of years & will continue to grow new bark.

Projected Cork is a naturally fire retardant material that does not release incandescent particles. Projected Cork does not allow the flames to propagate, slowing or stoping the spread of fire or reducing its intensity.

Projected Cork does not shed its fibers, which reduces dust build-up. This makes it the ideal product for people who suffer from allergies and asthma.

Projected Cork is a

natural thermal barrier,

reducing heat/cold from penetrating into the building. This can reduce energy bills in both summer and winter.  It provides an R-15 value insulation when applied at 3mm thick. It works best on the exterior as it prevents pipes from bursting and also acts as a natural radiant barrier, meaning it reflects the heat away from it, therefore the surface does not get hot

or hold temperature.

The natural properties of Projected Cork prevent mold and mildew growth. Laboratory tests reveal 0% mold or mildew growth on the product.

FIRE RETARDANT (1).png

Projected Cork has elastic properties that allow it to expand and contract accordingly with the weather and structure the product is protecting. Unlike stucco and paint, the spray cork does not crack or chip and can eliminate the exposed cracking in stucco.

The acoustic insulation property of Projected Cork absorbs and reduces sound, making for a quieter home/building. Projected Cork reduces echo, reverb, and sound travel in any room and completely eliminates the sound travel through a subfloor.

The in-penetrable / sealed aspect of Projected Cork makes it difficult for dirt to build up on the product. Dirt can be sprayed away with water easily if visible.

APPLICABLE TO ESSENTIALLY ANY SURFACE

Brick and stone are made from permeable materials, meaning water will eventually make its way through it and spread. With a cork install, the home would be sealed, and have a new modern look while maintaining the appearance of brick or stone and benefiting from all the other perks that come with the product.

Wood starts deteriorating

and shows signs of damage with age. This can lead to problems as the integrity of the material has been breached and water will travel to places it shouldn't. Also paint tends to fade or peel off wood over long periods of time, and shows to not be very durable. With the cork installation, you will not have to worry about

wood being damaged as it will

be sealed, and will not

peel off or fade.

ON EXTERIOR WALLS, PROJECTED CORK WILL SEAL AND PROTECT ANY TYPE OF SIDING, INCLUDING BRICK, STUCCO, ROOFING, WOOD, METAL & VINYL.

ON INTERIOR WALLS, PROJECTED CORK CAN ADD PROTECTION, ACOUSTIC INSULATION, AND  AESTHETIC APPEAL.

THIS PRODUCT CAN BE APPLIED TO NEARLY ALL SURFACES THAT YOU WOULD TREAT WITH TRADITIONAL PAINT, SUCH AS OUTDOOR POOLS, PATIOS, DECKS, AND MORE.

Roofs encounter leaks,

extreme heat, and diminish quickly. With the one-time installation of cork, it would

seal around all roof penetrations, reflect heat from heating the surface and provide mass insulation to the attic. It can even be applied to older expired roofs to bring them back to life. It is also cheaper to coat your roof in cork isolate than

replace it.

Stucco is very susceptible

to water damage, mold growth, and cracking especially in environments that experience tropical weather and climate changes. This can lead to further damage to homes if not treated and maintained. A one-time cork installation would seal and weatherproof the house, allowing water moisture to escape while not allowing water to penetrate.

Metal absorbs a lot of heat

which causes whatever is on the other side of it to be at a higher temperature. People that work in these buildings (For example Car mechanics) experience temperatures that can be hotter than outside. The metal buildings are also not very effective in stopping water from passing through. Cork isolate would

keep the surface of the metal from getting hot and seal any water passages that previously

existed.
